As I drove down to #WhiteSands, I thought the day was going to be a bust. Low clouds and heavy haze took many of the nice harsh shadows away. Patience is a virtue and a small window opened up with sharp light.

If you wait long enough, the dishes will rotate. Got lucky enough to catch them moving while doing a long exposure. Unsure of the technical reasons why two dishes didn't move in unison with the others.

If you wait long enough, the dishes will rotate. Got lucky enough to catch them moving while doing a long exposure. Unsure of the technical reasons why two dishes didn't move in unison with the others.
