With a proposed 263 telescopes spanning nearly 9,000 km (214 of the dishes being concentrated in the U.S. Southwest), the Next Generation Very Large Array is expected to have about 10x the sensitivity and 10x the spatial resolution of the current Very Large Array or ALMA!
