I am so glad the science fair we are organizing for 3-11 yr olds is this wk as I am getting msgs like 'her mini hydroelectric dam was able to produce .03 watts of electricity. We’re changing things to try to produce a little more power.' I mean, thats insanely cool and I need these bursts of joy

I am feeling a little extra pleasure that the elementary school I volunteer with is having its first science fair for 3-11 yr olds. Kids have to research a concept and present their findings on a trifold. Ideas range from favorite snacks of fruit flies to happy and sad teeth to a trash robot!

My French-American friends were all out protesting this wknd. I gushed to the kids 'Its because France was the cradle of liberty, equality etc'.
Kids: "Umm...probably because the French protest everything'.
Take away Gen Alpha laptops and phones immediately 🤦♀️. Then they cant argue our opinions 😜
