Would I love to see Corbin Burnes anchoring the front of the rotation for years to come? Yeah of course.
Am I sold that the #Orioles will make that investment in a 30 year old whose K & whiff dipped in 2024? Not so much.
Feels like if he stays east it’ll be a reunion with David Stearns in NY.

For a while, I kept up on Twitter b/c I felt like Musk didn't get the right to tell me where my communities could be found, and baseball twitter was still mostly there.
But the last 2 weeks feels like a huge tipping point, with so many people coming there -- and you can't really clean up Chernobyl.

The reason you give Juan Soto a bazillion dollars, no matter how crazy it sounds, is b/c he's irreplaceable. There's not another one, & his youth makes him a safe bet.
If you choose not to take a risk on paying, say, Bellinger, well, there's plenty of other players like that. There's only one Soto.
