Hoi lovely people, from a wet Australia! In the process of repacking all my cupboards, both bedrooms now have celing to bottom robes on one wall; I just stuffed a lot in there without really organising it - so it needs final touches. Wish me luck! :-) What are you all doing today? <3

Hoi allemaal - fijne dag vandaag! Ik ben aan het renoveren en slaap op een matras in de woonkamer met het hondje. Kom er net achter dat het allemaal nog een week extra gaat duren - vind het stiekem best leuk!!

Zag posts over wat een *&VH&^%$ Marjolein Faber is en keek eens.Ik zou de asiel zoekende jongeren best naar de Efteling willen laten gaan - maar wat wordt daar verder aan gedaan om dit geweld op de lange duur te voorkomen?

My sons and their girlfriends will be here in about half an hour for Easter - sooooooo looking forward to it! Made pineapple and cucumber salads this morning, boiled the rice ready to make nasi goreng with one of the gfs. Eggs out for hunting - shoes on for long walk in forest with them all 😀

Australia is echt groot!! Hier kun je zien hoe groot vergeleken met Europa, en hoe ver Albert van ons vandaan was. Ik zit in het zuidelijke rondje in Newcastle, 578 km van Lismore vandaan.

I like to sit on my tiny front verandah with a cuppa and the laptop. Every day, a man in a mobility scooter goes for a 'walk' around the block with his tiny dog in his lap, on this scooter. Sometimes he takes his little grandson also. Never lets the dog off. Getting some fresh air, I guess 😀

Vandaag de hele dag alleen - echt met niemand gepraat. Het blijft zo vreemd. Wel een hele lange wandeling gemaakt - en toen kwam mijn zoon met 'what was it you used to make us say again when we had the hiccups'? 😀😅😂

What would you do, if you found one of these in your garden in Australia? It eats snails, crickets, caterpillars and other pests and can get about 60 cm long.

Gorgeous day here in NSW Australia - birds are whistling, nice gentle breeze and sunshine. Just fed my little doves with hand rearing mix - there are 6 to do at the moment. Three of them 6 times a day, 2 of them 5 and a bigger one 3 times.
Four feed themselves - just a clean cage and food! 🕊️

I'm just wondering - how much more disconnected do they want people to become with this expansion of AI in all areas of our lives? You can't even have a little chat at the shops anymore, everywhere is self serve. Computers and their chips may become more connected - but people are not.
