Multi-genre writer, stargazer and creator of worlds. Proud mum. Trans ally. She/her. Aussie. Brizvegas.
Two days ago, I removed the broken power supply from my computer and replaced it with a new one purchased on eBay. I did this all by myself in a heat wave and without aircon. Watcing a couple of YouTube vides helped. No more borrowing the husband's computer. #olddognewtrick

My mouth made a big bloody splat
When it met the #business end of a bat
In pain cheek to cheek,
Couldn't eat for a week
But I shed many layers of fat 😁

Untethered from gravities grasp
Falling through fields
Of crystalline light
Eyes wide, sparkle in the now
Joy in each moment
Joy in each movement
Clouds race across the sky
Forever chasing the sun
Deep in the white

If you need the food bank right now, there’s no shame. Shame belongs to a system that pays poverty wages, cuts childcare, and lets healthcare bankrupt families.
If you can give, do. If you can’t, that’s okay too.

#NovemberWorldbuilders 1: something in your world that is RED

One thing that comes to mind (that isn't something like, say, fire) is the royal colors of Tavarria. One of them is red! Haven't established who came up with this decision... hmm... 🤔

It's my birthday (November 1). I had to wait half-a-day for my husband to wish me a happy birthday. Tonight, I'm cooking dinner because money is tight. We're having chicken tenderloins and salad. I bought double the tenderloins, so I can eat some. Usually, he and the kid eat them all. W00t.

I had take two of my blood test today (the first one resulted in no blood drawn). Today, a different blood tech drew a thimble's worth from between my fingers and admitted she wasn't experienced enough to do anymore. I prepared with over a litre of water and a brisk walk. 😱

I'm back! My PC's power supply unit went kaput. I turned off my desktop when heading to bed last week. When I went to power it up again, nothing happened. Did all the tests and the only conclusion I have is the power unit is dead. So, this is me stealing my husband's PC until it is fixed.
