I just took a ride with Uber, and my driver is from Venezuela. He spent the whole trip expressing concern that the same shift from democracy to dictatorship he saw in Venezuela is happening right now in the United States. He’s absolutely incredulous that Americans are allowing it to happen.

Wir erinnern uns, dass Herbert Kickl seinerzeit sagte, „dass das Recht der Politik zu folgen hat und nicht die Politik dem Recht“. Man sieht in den USA, was das in letzter Konsequenz bedeuten kann – und auch, warum das ein so gefährlicher Grundsatz ist
In den USA wir der Rechtsstaat ausgehebelt. Das Recht gilt zwar weiter, aber es kann nicht mehr durchgesetzt werden - weil Gerichte keine Armeen haben. Der legendäre Jurist Ernst Fraenkel hat dafür den Begriff "Doppelstaat" geprägt. Eine Warnung an uns alle: zackzack.at/2026/01/21/d...
