A brilliant bird filled day in @ldvnnr.bsky.social. An afternoon watching a White-tailed Eagle thanks to a phone call from @ldvbirder.bsky.social, preceded by finding 5 Eurasian White-fronted Geese in the vast Greylag herds. LDV hooching with birds, absolutely fantastic. #UKbirding #Birds

The superb juvenile White-tailed Eagle in the @ldvnnr.bsky.social yesterday, looking absolutely massive lumbering around flushing the thousands of Wildfowl and Waders currently on site, unringed/untagged so presumably continental origin @yorkbirding.bsky.social

The Taiga Bean Goose at Loch Heilen was ringed in E. Finland in July 2020. Usually wintering in S. Sweden, it was sighted in Norway (26th Sept) before Caithness. Full details can be found here submit.cr-birding.org/animals/1417... #CaithnessBirds

It has taken a bit of legwork to get this GW Egret at Alton Water decoded (well done to Laurence Potter for tip-off that we had a bangled one there). Turns out it is from NE Poland, border with Lithuania. I've seen a couple of reports from Belarus, so fits the pattern. #UKBirding

Selling my Sony G FE 200-600mm F5.6-F6.6 lens it’s in great condition with no marks on the lenses, it’s boxed and has the hood, strap, case, instructions. It has a vinyl skin applied. Looking for £950 Collection only or can meet at Spurn/Flamborough etc.
