dissatisfied by the New York Times coverage of Zohran Mamdani?

great news! I talked to the guy Thursday about his campaign’s success at bringing community together beyond this election, and contextualized how it’s potentially shifted youth engagement with politics by simply listening @teenvogue.com
Zohran Mamdani's Establishment-Fighting Campaign Built Community for Young People
“What Mamdani has done is not only inspire and mobilize young people, but he has exposed the establishment and some of their calcified views of participation and inclusion.”

I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

About fifteen years ago, we got Terence Stamp in to do a voice-over for a TV commercial. He was just as charming as you’d have hoped. “I started off working in advertising” he said. “The first ad I ever wrote was for a knitting machine: ‘Knit faster with Knitmaster.’ “

I have always loved this clip of Sly and the Family Stone's medley on Ed Sullivan. Simply because Ed's strait laced audience cannot resist the enthusiasm of Sly and the band.

What made Sly Stone good, was not only his enthusiasm, but his energy and always thinking what was best for the greater good.
