Ever seen teal flowers? 🟢🟠

Puya alpestris ssp. zoellneri looks unreal—metallic blooms with orange stamens, bird-pollinated & found only in #Chile 🇨🇱. All six Chilean #Puya species are endemic & form a distinct clade in this ancient genus.

Nolana reichei #Solanaceae is a coastal endemic from the southern #AtacamaDesert, #Chile. Like many Nolana spp., it has a fleshy taproot.
No filter – colors range from yellow to blue, purple, and black!
