I'm just reposting this as people seem to be following me with blank profiles.
This is a polite note for some people who have recently followed me & who I haven't followed back.

I'm very reluctant to follow people with completely blank bios. Please fill in your bio with some of your likes & dislikes.

Thanks.πŸ™‚
How you make that assumption is way beyond my comprehension.😲

The privileged old bastards in the HoL deserve slow, agonising deaths for filibustering the bill out of time.

Abolish the house of nutters and replace it with a much smaller, fully elected Senate.

Rich man and a fascist man in one body. He'd fit right in, in Reform.

Erm, why not simply rejoin the Customs Union and Single Market?

Enshrine membership in law so it's more difficult for a future government to drag us out again.

The speculation is mostly media driven. The right-wing media is a blot on the reputation of the UK. I hate it and have not used an MSM newspaper in all of my 60+ years.

Yes, fiscal rules are entirely dreamt up by the Chancellor and have no real value. This country has a FIAT currency, and the government could use the BoE to transform our society, but they are too timid.

Again, we should not be subservient to the bond markets. Let them whine and complain.
February 10, 2026 at 11:43 AM
It's the Times, and which party do you think most Times readers support? It's almost certainly not Labour.

The MSM in this country is very right-wing.
February 10, 2026 at 11:30 AM
The government does not need to be subservient to the bond markets. Reeves might be because of her background, but Starmer is supposed to be in charge & can overrule her if he wants to.

He still has time to be more traditional Labour and enact some socialist policies. I hope he does.
February 10, 2026 at 11:20 AM
I post that list every now and then, and people tell me that everything has changed & not to expect those things now.
But what is a pledge? It's a promise by another name, surely?

If Starmer actually believed those things, why had he abandoned them?
February 10, 2026 at 11:05 AM
The fact that Farage is mentioned in those files so many times seems to have been ignored by the MSM.
Why?

You need to fill the McSweeney role.πŸ˜„
February 9, 2026 at 11:13 AM
That shouldn't be hard to achieve, should it?
February 9, 2026 at 11:04 AM
Is what to claim for and what not to claim for, SO bloody complicated? If it's connected to your job, you can claim it. If it isn't, you can't.

It's not rocket science.

I don't trust a single thing that Chris Mason says or writes. A right-wing nutjob is what he is.

How so?
February 8, 2026 at 2:57 PM
Why?
February 8, 2026 at 2:54 PM
The media knows a huge amount of info on just about everything. It chooses what to show us, and that depends on its own agenda.
February 7, 2026 at 3:43 PM
Mr Johnson is a nutcase. An overpaid peddler of untruths, lies, and utter fabricated bullshit.
February 7, 2026 at 3:38 PM
We need the UK media to report the unvarnished truth about Farage and his very murky past.

Currently, he's getting a much too easy ride from the MSM.

The sledgehammer was brought to the fighting by a security guard, I believe. He was disarmed, and it was then used against him.
February 7, 2026 at 3:31 PM
Sounds great. But will such a government ever come to power? We haven't had one for something like 75 years. Blair's government was good, but not truly Labour, was it?
February 7, 2026 at 2:55 PM
Labour needs to get back towards the ideas it was started for by trade unions. The current iteration is much too right-wing to be truly regarded as a Labour government.
