We need to keep asking the right-wing loonies which of the ECHR protections they personally would like to live without. I bet most of them have no idea about what the ECHR protects, & think because it say European, it's allied to the EU. 🙄

Really?

What about the thousands of small companies operating in the UK? No tax inspectors to examine their books since Osbourne made the all redundant as part of austerity.
Do you think they all pay their tax liabilities willingly?

We have a rescued German Shepherd and one thing we noticed early on is that she won't go out into the garden for a wee if it's raining, but out of the front door on a lead for walkies - she doesn't care about the weather!

Here's a shot of her on sentry duty.

There's enough money around, Reeves just has to tax the right people & companies.

I am quite left-leaning actually.

Richard Murphy wrote a good piece in the Guardian just before last year's election. There are myriad ways of raising more tax without stinging 'working people'.
The government REALLY SHOULD talk to Richard.

For crying out loud!

Richard Murphy wrote an article on comprehensive ideas for raising more tax from the wealthiest people in the Guardian paper last year. Here's a single page of that that might raise £40bn extra a year.

The weather forecast is not very good.

Yet if you complain to BBC News about their obvious bias, you get a bland, meaningless reply.
June 19, 2025 at 8:08 PM
They won't listen. The BBC is determined to make Reform more popular.
I wrote a complaint to the BBC about their coverage of Reform and covered the points you state about the Green & LibDems being bigger.

I got this bullshit reply:

Here is the top of my pergola from an upstairs bedroom.
Rosa ' Veilchenblau' AGM is the small purple/red flower.
Rosa 'Sombreuil' is the large white flower to the right of the image.
Rosa 'Francis E Lester' AGM is the small white/pink flowered one at the top right of the image.🌱

The rain has finally moved away, and the sun's come out to play.

Here is my Rosa "Alexandre Girault" climbing up our western boundary fence.🌱

Have you ever done a test on the Internet? I never thought of myself as very left-leaning but when I did a couple of different tests, I got this result. It surprised me!😯

Here's another example of clear bias in SkyNews' coverage of this new EU agreement. Sam Coates says he's found a problem in the small print & highlights the passage below as a problem.
He only reads the yellow bit & ignores the rest of the sentence.
Our media is crap.

Well, you could read Stephanie Kelton's book.
