One of the best Legos I've ever made. Because I had the original in the 90s.

The trick was to basically install a wired WiFi access point per room (4 in total), but only enable 2.4 GHz bands in 2 of them, as that is enough to cover the whole house.

In a milestone in my home networking career, after adding 2 new access points and tweaking around the band settings, all 38 WiFi devices in my house have better than -75 dBm signal, hence appearing all green at the Unifi management panel.

The Lego Sherlock Holmes is really cute. Goes as a book in the library!

The edge of the Milky Way, near Andromeda galaxy (seen in the lower right). Captured last July from Greece using my Canon R6 and a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens.

Seen at the Museum of London. It's amazing how different the approach to immigration was just 50 years ago.

Half of the Milky Way, from Andromeda galaxy (the bright spot at the lower center) to the center of our galaxy. Captured with the Canon R6 and a 14mm f/2.8 lens last July from central Greece.

The most interesting, and promising, plot of 2025. Our species now produces more energy by solar than by coal!

Watched Avatar 3 in its full glory, laser IMAX 3D at BFI. Gorgeous looking but man story-wise the 2nd and 3rd movies could have been combined. I do not foresee more movies being made.

Isn’t is sad that the best Christmas movies remain Home Alone and Love Actually from 20+ years ago?

Rewatched the Titanic, this time in all its 4K UHD glory. Watched the movie 3 times in 1997-1998 in the cinemas, and it still holds up so well. The last major movie that did not rely too much in CGI.
