Head of a neurodivergent household. Ex-archaeologist. Now and again I paint things. Most of all, it's just nice to be nice.
Finished 'Lord of the Flies' on iPlayer last night. Best thing I've seen in ages+feel like it will sit with me for a long time. Incredible casting, acting and cinematography.

Don't usually post about things I've watched but, wow..... couldn't not.

If you saw my dancing and heard my awful singing, the jealousy would soon fade ☺️.

The freedom to be yourself in all your inherent weirdness is just the best.

Lovely little flash of realisation as I danced madly around my kitchen with my headphones on singing my favourite Wolf Alice song into my bemused/confused little cat's face was multitudes more fun than I ever had with my ex-husband.

My own company is awesome.

There comes a point towards the end of 'I Wanna Be the Only One' by Eternal where I just feel the need to slap them+Bebe Winans for getting hysterical.

You want to be the only one, we get it. You don't have to tell us 628 times through multiple fucking key changes.

Taking 3-5 business days to wrestle himself out of his leather jacket was a particular highlight.

I truly believe that in 5 billion years, when the sun is about to finally burn out.....Halara will still be saying that they're in the final hours of their 70% off sale.

This pup found a stick shaped like an old timey pipe earlier today and has already solved three mysteries. 13/10

Muttering "fucking horses" under your breath as you smile broadly and hold a cordial hand up to the riders you're driving past at a snail's place after being held up in the queue to drive round them for 10 mins.
What "core British values" has "the left" not defended? Can someone ask this sentient fucking saucepan what he means?
Keir Starmer attacks the racism of Reform and Matt Goodwin but then adds that "Britain has also been let down by a mindset on the left of politics that is too slow to defend core British values"

No-one complimented me on my cool, new black wide-legged trousers/culottes today as I swished around the corridors feeling quite trendy.

Now I'm home, I'm wondering whether I've just gone full-throttle Kim Jong Un.

*fully aware no-one has said 'trendy' since 1989.

This photo just makes me seethe. It's everything that is, and has been wrong with the world for a long time.

Cabals of rich, white/orange men consumed with utter contempt and hatred for anyone and anything that doesn't enrich or serve them and their stinking wealth.

I despise them all.

Dreamt I had to stand in front of a massive room of 'too cool for school' 20 somethings and lead them in the actions for 'Superman' by Black Lace.

They were NOT happy.

Do I love hats? - βœ…
Do I like knitting? - βœ…
Do I hate Fascism? - βœ…
Do I want to help? - βœ…

If you tick the same boxes, go and buy the pattern for this hat to help Minneapolis even a tiny bit from afar.

My knitting skills are mediocre but I'll let you know how mine goes.

I know the world is awful right now, but feel free to take a second and enjoy my cat, Zuzu with the cushion of her face I bought for Christmas. #Caturday

I hate that this post is already relevant again. I thought Catherine O'Hara was wonderful. What a sad loss.
Why is the Grim Reaper taking all the good and decent people who have actually contributed to the world when there's a fat orange fuck in Washington and a rat-faced shit-bag in Moscow more than ripe for the picking?!

Leave the good'uns alone!

Poseidon torpedo....is that a level up from Poseidon's kiss where you have a poo and a bit of water splashes up your bum hole?
Attention, United Kingdom!

Russian propagandist Solovyev threatens the UK with a nuclear strike or a strike with the Poseidon torpedo, as it's a "far more systemic enemy" for Russia.

He got one thing correct....Donald is indeed a right tit.

A Cuban-born podcaster in Miami named "El Oski" with Donald Trump tattoo is now facing deportation

Aaaw, that's nice... someone reposted my post, no-one ever does that. Who was it? I don't recognise them....

....ah yes, an Eastern European sexbot with one follower reposting random posts at a rate of knots. Of course it fucking is.

Love weird little coincidences.

Just catching up on the news after spending a rare afternoon with my oldest friend.

I read a comment referencing the song 'Do You Hear the People Sing'. Didn't know the song so looked it up on YTube.

And there, on the barricades is my friend's dad who was an extra.

For a second I thought the mad fucker had finally died and this was the US version of Paddington walking celebs into the afterlife.

Stand down everyone, put the champagne back in the fridge, he's still breathing...damnit.

It's just occurred to me that when I read Samuel Pepys' diary entries my brain reads them in the style and voice of Jim from 'Friday Night Dinner'.
Mr. Dixon came to give me an account of his success with Mr. Wheatly for his daughter for my brother; in short his daughter cannot fancy my brother because of his imperfection in his speech, which I am sorry for, but there the business must die, and we must look out for another.
