This is around Talbot Lake in Jasper Park Alberta. An unnamed mountain close to Capital mountain. I have my Nikon 100 to 400mm lens on the Z50II. I'm hoping to see wildlife, but on a clear day with great light....

Constable Chelsey Robinson Park west of Edmonton Alberta near the Genesee bridge over the North Saskatchewan river last fall. There was fog forecast . This year it has been very dry. The Canada geese were following the river in their journey.

This is Roche Ronde in Jasper Park. I climbed up the side of Hwy 16 by the old Fitzhugh Lime mine in the evening. The Aspen trees were too dense for a sweeping landscape shot across the river but I managed this on the way down.

Athabasca River by Morro Slabs and Hwy 16 in Jasper Park Oct 1 2025. The fires last year were extensive around the town of Jasper. A few trails still have to be cleared before they are open again (such as the Valley of the Five Lakes).

Laurier Park in Edmonton Alberta at the end of September. There are no big native hardwood trees in Alberta. The river valley has Balsam Poplar, Aspen, Birch, Pines and Spruce. The trees mostly turn yellow with some orange. The bushes turn red.

This is the North Saskatchewan River by Devon Alberta on the 20 th of September. The Aspen and Birch trees are turning yellow and the occasional orange, the dogwood bushes and ground plants can show reds.

Lake Minnewanka in Banff on the June 22 2025. 29$ C to camp in the national parks, no daily entrance fee. Rain and low cloud Saturday, Sunday was a beautiful day for spending time and hiking along the lake.

Skyline trail off the Maligne Road in Jasper Park, Alberta at the end of May 2025. That is Hwy 16 in the distance by the mountains. The trail has been cleared of all the fallen burnt logs, but the fire was just last year. Eerily quiet.
