Thank you, for a moment there was great light and I took the photo.
Thank you, it was a lucky photo, the sun rose above the clouds on the horizon and I noticed the tree. It was very bright shooting into the direction of the sun but my exposure was right and the result was good.

Wonderful shot, I have been there and didn't look around for such a great place to to take the photo. awesome

Well thanks, I'll have to look it up and find out and get back to you. I should know more about it (excuses starting) but usually the whole river bank is covered in trees. The Edmonton/Devon Alberta area has oil and Natural gas and coal so it probably is from ancient lake deposits .
