Today is the 5 year anniversary of SAWAYAMA by Rina Sawayama, so I made this album cover redraw in celebration (can’t resist a good one)! I’ve only listened to this album since ‘23 but it reminds me of Shiroizu so I HAD to draw her recreating the look. #fanart #artist #illustrator #SifuGame

On the backs of her hands and arms are small, dark brown tattoos. Her dress is beige and almost blends in with her skin, though some of it covers a section of her left hand and arm. It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

I’ve been meaning to make Wyatt Sick6 fanart for the longest time but didn’t have any really good ideas till this past weekend, so here’s a Nikki Cross based album cover redraw of Atrocity Exhibition by Danny Brown! I’ve really enjoyed her performance in particular :)
This drawing is only in black and white. A short, white woman stands and faces front, though you can only see her from the head to the chest. Her face is divided into two. The right half of her face has her looking up with her mouth slightly open. Her hair is wet, she wears lipstick, and she has long eyelashes with black makeup around her eyes. The left half of her face is covered with a full face mask. The eyehole is completely gray and its face is cracked. It gives the viewer a sadistic smile. There is also a line starting at the corner of the mouth that reaches the chin, implying it has a puppet’s mouth. Both halves wear the same outfit: a bulky, dark gray jacket with thick, silver edges and a plain black shirt underneath (cleavage is visible). Behind the normal face, the background is half dark gray & half light gray with more dark than light and the light part at the bottom. Behind the masked face are two vertical light and dark gray pillars. The dark gray is larger than the light gray though both sides have the same vertical light streaks going through them. Some of the hair on the masked side is much lighter than the rest. Surrounding this drawing is a thick, black border with text. The left and bottom sides read “LET US IN” written in jagged text while the top and right sides read “TIME TO PLAY” in bulky letters. Both phrases are fully capitalized.
