Made a few adjustments since V1 - the article is now crystal clear: reform is a band-aid, abolition is the way. I don't trust this admin to complete harm reductive systemic change.

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.

Marimar Martinez was the first US citizen shot by ICE.

They claimed she was a terrorist. Said she was brandishing a weapon.

They lied. Video footage exonerated her and showed the ICE agent shot her five times.

He bragged to other agents “five shots, 7 holes”.

A wide grin was plastered on Marimar Martinez’s face Thursday as she thanked her attorneys outside an Illinois courtroom and told reporters, “I’m just blessed. I’m happy.”

Abolish ICE and prosecute everyone who stays in it from this day forward as members of a criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

CORPORATE. DEMOCRAT. BETRAYAL.

See where the democrats line up on governance standards and fascistic tendencies in comments.
Just 1 day in Minnesota and 2 things are crystal clear to me. People are traumatized. And people are resilient.

Far from backing down, Minnesotans are organizing—in a cold unlike any I've experienced in my life. Meanwhile, Corporate Democrats push through additional ICE funding. Here's my recap.
Minnesota Momentum & Corporate Democrat Betrayal
Just 1 day in Minnesota has improved my outlook on hope for the future of this country--but we need Corporate Democrats to stop betraying us

Jonathan Ross—the ICE fascist who killed Renee Good—is an 18-year ICE veteran, firearms instructor, & active shooter trainer.

The people claiming "ICE needs more training" are missing the point. Ross's 2 DECADES of training IS what led him to execute Good. ICE Training IS the problem.

Abolish ICE.

ICE Has No Authority to Detain U.S. Citizens
Text SIGN POOEAG to 50409 — I am writing to remind you of a basic and indisputable point of law: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has no legal authority whatsoever to detain, arrest, or hold United States citizens for immigration enforcement purposes. ICE’s jurisdiction is strictly limited to the enforcement of federal immigration laws, which by definition apply only to non-citizens. The detention of U.S. citizens by ICE—whether through negligence, reckless disregard, or willful abuse of power—is unlawful and a direct violation of constitutional rights, including the Fourth and Fifth Amendments. Any detention of a U.S. citizen by ICE constitutes an illegal seizure. It exposes the federal government to civil liability and represents a profound failure of oversight by Congress. When this occurs, it is not a “mistake” to be brushed aside—it is a breakdown of the rule of law. As my elected representative, you have a sworn duty to uphold the Constitution and to provide oversight of federal agencies operating under your authority. That duty includes ensuring ICE complies with the law, implementing meaningful accountability when violations occur, and taking immediate corrective action when Americans’ rights are infringed. Silence or inaction in the face of unconstitutional conduct is not neutrality—it is complicity. I expect you to publicly reaffirm that ICE may not detain U.S. citizens and to take concrete steps to ensure this prohibition is enforced. The Constitution is not optional. Neither is your responsibility to defend it.

You don't need a political science degree to recognize authoritarianism.

If your family fled it, you've seen the patterns: leaders who reject elections, control courts, silence critics, claim they're above the law.

Can we measure it precisely enough to see it coming? 🧵

ABOLISH ICE, or a variation of it, should be a litmus test for most Americans.

It is one of mine.

If a Democrat thinks they can rally people by supporting and funding ICE, they are grossly misinformed and utterly ghoulish.

Call your reps. Let them know that if they vote for ICE funding, you will not vote for them ever again.

Representatives need to feel the heat. NO on ICE funding. No excuses.
So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.

There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.

Once it goes to the Senate we likely lose this chance.

24 hours. Go.
