“Nature/Nurture,” #acrylic on wood panel, 11.5” round, 2023. I painted this in the hazy #postpartum period soon after the birth of my third child. She was born with a true knot in her umbilical cord and was woefully tiny. The #breastfeeding was endless and the sleep impossible.
