I just received news from my genetic panel. I have Myotonic Dystrophy type 1 (Steinert’s disease).
THATS how I’m a sick person, Dr. McCarty. I have a lot going wrong. Gargle my balls.

The determination letter came back from the hospital completely gaslighting and dismissing me.
I was abused and neglected by hospital staff for almost two hours because a provider was gaslighting me and it triggered the decades of medical trauma I’ve endured.
I raised my voice. I self advocated.
