In 1979 I was in the 3rd grade and as a class project we all wrote to a celebrity of our choice. I picked #Mork. #RobinWilliams and #PamDawber wrote me back!! I don’t recall what percent of the class got replies, but i think it was well over half. #autograph

I passed my five year mark since I gave up drinking alcohol back in October. I’m reading a book that started talking about drink recipes and the author came to the #Caipirinha. I had my first one in 2002 while in #Brazil and fell in love with them. Gosh I miss them now. But not gonna have one!

The BEST part about my wife agreeing to watch #Firefly is seeing her bond with the characters through the series and the #Serenity movie.
The worst part? THAT scene in Serenity.

After being turned onto #TheRookie by my wife’s sister and her husband, we just finished all the episodes available on Hulu. To fill our Nathan Fillion gap my wife agreed to watch my #Firefly collection with me. Woohoo!! Finally!!

After seeing one on fb marketplace I decided it was finally time to get a LED illuminated On Air indicator for my #AmateurRadio #ham shack.
Then I decided it would be more fun to build my own with materials I already had in my #workshop. I feel this #DIY project turned out rather nice.

My #LLBean sunglasses were given to me at checkout when I showed them my awesome tattoo. Along with my #HalfMoonJugBand shirt and the beautiful background, the only thing that could have made this photo more #Maine would be if I had remembered to have a #Moxie in my hand.

Got my wife out to a local park to play some #pickleball for the first time in quite a while. It was empty enough that we could just work on her swing without officially playing. That will come later. Met a very friendly young couple playing on another court. Hope to do this more often soon.

On the topic of #littlevictories while cooking some home fries for #breakfast I just did that chef move where you do that quick move with the skillet and it flips a portion of the contents over. I’d never tried that before. I’m somewhat pleased with myself.
