*late night ping from manager*

me: "oh shit"

"just wanted to make sure you saw this" (shares inconsequential thing)

me: "ok phew, yeah, saw that thanks"

I'm actually really excited about watching The Muppet Show.

When I was a kid (and I'm dating myself here) Sunday nights were a big deal. I loved it.

I was just kinda experimenting but I'm really pleased with how the PDS dashboard looks so far. There are pages for all login sessions, statistics about connections, and passkey management. I think I've got something here.

I spent like an hour just staring at this comment and I think I finally have it figured out.

I'm starting to build an administrative web interface for the PDS. I'm like "only one page or so" and I'm certain the thing will be enormous when I'm finished with it.

On Monday morning I look through my calendar for the week and get it organized.

I'll accept meetings I can attend, decline those I can't, forward meetings to attendees if needed, etc.

This week I somehow ended up with a 30-minute slot on Thursday with EIGHT CONCURRENT MEETINGS.

EIGHT MEETINGS

I’m wondering what vibe coding will do to the static site generator ecosystem.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to understand an old Hugo static site configuration. but then I realized I could probably pretty quickly ask copilot to do it.

me: I can totally update a few static web files without messing up my super-important atproto did document

I have an idea for a blog but every time I open Notepad I cannot muster the desire to actually write. My brain is built for microblogging.

evergreen post lol - once again hitting a bug that's new to me but others have faced
In today's episode of "Threddy encounters every obstacle that other PDS implementers have encountered."

It seems that my PDS gets "forgotten" by the network if I'm idle for too long. So I put calls to requestCrawl in an occasional timer loop.

I've reached the two-week mark for hosting this account on the new PDS

despite a few bugs, it's been going pretty well so far
