Tis the season, and so I will reiterate that Little Brownie Bakery is the FAR superior #GirlScoutCookie bakery and it is not close. ‘Caramel Delights’ are hot garbage compared to Samoas, and they also make the superior thin mint.

I got the peach and pumpkin pies done last night but the cake defeated me. My father and my bestie are both cake bakers that consistently produce stuff that belongs on Pinterest, but I do not have this skill.

This is actually peak Turkey Day insanity for me. If all goes well, by the end of today all the desserts will be done, rolls will be ready to bake, and anything casserole-esque will be ready to just go in the oven tomorrow, leaving basically just veg for day of.

5 Days out. We’re making bread for the stuffing and using a Japanese milk bread as the base. I read a Serious Eats comparison of breads and they’ve convinced me that soft and white is the way to go.
