I left Spotify after 9 years because of the CEO's autonomous weapons investment shit, but it's not really about Spotify individually at all. It's about trying to be better, and intentional, and asking yourself if you're making the world you want

Last night I canceled our Spotify subscription and moved everything to Tidal using Soundiiz. I like the user interface and the sound quality is even better. Thanks a lot to @ahumanfuture.co for the recommendation.

⚓️ New Article: The overflow: hidden property and sticky headers
The overflow: hidden property and sticky headers
While working on Kelp, my UI library for people who love HTML, I learned something new-to-me:
Setting overflow: hidden prevents the position: sticky property from working.
It doesn’t even matter if the hidden overflow is in the scroll direction. Setting overflow-x: hidden to prevent horizontal scroll prevents sticky headers from sticky with vertical scrolling.
I also learned that overflow: clip solves this very problem! The overflow: clip property produces the same visual effect as overflow: hidden.

That quiz was fun. My result seems about right. 😄
YOUR SCORE: 20
You're experienced, and likely a passionate defender of the open web and all that makes the web weird. This doesn't come without a cost, and you're probably tired AF.
