i started to do gesture drawings daily thinking that i wouldnt gain anythin from it but it definitely has affected the way i look at photos of people now. my mind IMMEDIATELY locks onto "this is how i could draw this pose real quick"

i watched a bit of a speedpaint and its so scary how people make line art and they use multiple layers for it and i,,,, i just cannot comprehend committing to that level of detail

i stg it feels like asian characters (specifically anime characters) are Schrodingers White, theyre white when you want them to be, but theyre POC is other situations. it lowkey annoys me

honestly i feel like i should get into the habit of making artworks with an unfinished quality to them. i feel like i would feel less pressured to fully render smth and i would be able to get more shit drawn, which means i would gain more experience and practice

ever since i got the library extension i get more excited to read. its such a useful extension and it makes me realize how many books are actually accessible for me. would recommend!
