@patstaresat.bsky.social I know this probably won't affect your interest in jumping back into Wilds any time soon, but did you see that Capcom announced in the latest guild report that they're going to be making all the previous event quests permanent?

Some of the new missions and special objectives are pretty cool! There's one that opens portals to Eldritch hell and floods in quadrupedal space monsters for you to defend against while you shoot a purple crystal that screams at you

Supposedly, Wilds checks to see if you have DLC so often and so aggressively that it tanks your frames. Which would mean that shitloads of DLC Capcom has released for that game has allegedly, inadvertently, become a $500+ performance paywall.
