The real world answer is "no one's that bothered" of course, but isn't there a vaguely common head cannon thing that "James Bond" is just an assumed identity anyway? That's why his face, age and accent keep changing.

Just like a poorly rendered drawing or Punk, there's an inherent charm to things made by people who don't really know what they're doing, but tried anyway.
