This weekend was quite foggy in the morning, you will see it soon... Anyway we had a great blue sky in the afternoon. Just before sunset was the perfect moment to take some pictures of cyclamens with my Helios 40. Happy #Stunday

The lac du Cébron is always a place I can connect with nature: from time to time an osprey in fishing in winter, you can see about 30 species of dragonflies. Or you can also admire the #Scape !

A few days ago I was totally impressed by a shot in Andreï Tarkovsky's Stalker. It's a movie about a room that can fulfill all your desires. But to reach it you need to be guided by a stalker, because it is very dangerous. And there was a shot of rocs covered by moss... I've made something else.

Autumn has arrived with wind and rain. Anyway, we have colors, everything was son dry a few weeks ago ! And cyclamens are blossoming !

A few weeks we had some wind, with 50 miles an hour it was less than a tempest but for this lake in Poitou, it was huge ! Is it enough for #TidesOutTuesday ?

There an image I was thinking about during the moon eclipse. It was taken a century ago by Edward Steichen. It's a photo but the process, gum printing tends to drawing or even pastel. It is the pond Moonlight and the moon is rising above the horizon as in yesterday's eclipse #EdwardSteichen

Yesterday's eclipse was very special because when the moon rose above the horizon, it was already full (for France). And with a sky partially cloudy, it was even more challenging! Anyway, I've taken a few pictures. #MoonEclipse

I haven't posted something there for sometime, I was preparing a new radio programme for a local broadcast in Poitou, France. It is called "c'est beau la nature" something like nature is beautiful. So I've done videos to explore the universe of sound! But now it's autumn in August and it's #Stunday

When mayflies are going out of the water all at the same time, it's called manna in France. But here it's just a movement of my camera (ICM), playing with the light of the full moon above a lake in an old quarry. Anyway, I still want to call it manna and I hope you'll enjoy it for #Stunday

Faces are changing, not the methods! today, it's the turn of Ukraine.

Sorry, for #FoodOnFriday I can only give you a tiny, tiny, tiny fly! And this story: I was taking the picture of this small mullein with its yellow flowers. Just at this moment, a willow emerald damselfly - what a name! - wanted a place to eat her prey... And so she took my mullein!

I had already something on my computer, some wooden drops an artist from Poitou, Jean Luc Rivault is sculpting. And in this time of heavy drought in France, with temperatures above 100°F for tomorrow, even a drop made of wood is stunning !

It was at the end of the shower, the sun was beginning to appear but my clothes were already too damp so I've bought an ugly camo mackintosh! Sorry for that, here, it is not Fashion Friday... It is #ForestFriday And it's time for a #Scape

Only one post today, a picture made with a soviet lens from 1966, the Helios 40. The Black and White versions are made with DxO Film Pack.

I was playing with herbs in the foreground to create this soft ambiance. But I've been unable to see the drama that was happening just in front of my eyes ! I've discovered it a few minutes ago on the screen of my computer.

I have another image for #Stunday with these blossoming Chestnut trees from my small region in Poitou, in France : the Gâtine.

For #Stunday I have chosen this wonderful buck, I hope you'll appreciate it! How many tines does it have ? How could you describe its antlers ?

After my last picture, I thought I was compelled to show you a flower of Chestnut. This is a male one and bees are mad of it! But their honey is shit, totally, because bees are collecting aphids' shit, honeydew which is rich in sugar to make this honey!

At the beginning of the summer, I had a challenge: take photos of the flowering of chestnut trees. Because chestnuts have true flowers and you can always taste the delicious honey made with them. But, its Friday on Bluesky, so flowers will wait and you'll have #Scape instead !

A bright moon will make it hard to see the Perseid meteor shower in mid-August, but one night this week offers a decent chance of seeing some shooting stars.
Don't wait for the Perseids in August — look for meteors this week

For #MacroMonday an image from last summer : the southern Darter, Sympetrum meridionale. It was taken in the Landes de l'Hopiteau, a marshland in Poitou, France.

"She climbed onto the flat roof of the shed to make a landscape portrait. I watched her framing up the beige ridge of clouds where my blue skies shaded into rust brown" Karen Russell the Antidote. And in this novel, the image is taken with a speedgraphic!
