Horror movies. Australian movies. Rock/metal music. Australian music. Melbourne Demons and anything else in between.
Come to the end of another year of #JanuAussie. This year will be a little bit different though as I will be continuing The Curb #aussiex26 challenge throughout the year. The 3rd instalment will be next Monday. A few films that I was considering this year will probably end up in that list.

Devastated by the loss of Rob Hirst . I never caught Midnight Oil in their heyday, but saw them in Wodonga during their epic reunion gig of 2017. Top 10 gig for sure. The band changed up the setlist for every region. On the banks of the Murray we got songs like Back on the Borderline 1/3

Underrated late era Midnight Oil track, that is sadly, more relevant now than when it was written in 1997 #RobHirst

Vale Rob Hirst.
Your underrated appearance on 2003's Micallef Tonight still gives me a laugh when Shaun says "U.S. Forces" is his favourite track (which doesn't have much drumwork in it 😂).

Vale to a most amazing person and musician. I hope you're beating the crap out of a drumkit, somewhere, Rob. Thank you for the immense joy and inspiration you've provided. www.theguardian.com/music/2026/j...

Bullshit. I've travelled hours to see movies. Even went interstate once just to see a particular film

Let's start today with a laugh
BoyTown (2006)

The five members of the 1980s boy band Boytown reunite in 2005, years after their heyday. Uncertainties loom as they strive to reconnect with audiences and rediscover the magic that initially propelled their stardom.

Going back to a time when Jimeon was more ubiquitous than Jimmy Barnes .
I remember being really disappointed with The Craic when it was released. Let's see if a quarter of a century can change my opinion
