If the Democrats are able to regain control, they must repeal Citizens United. Corporate money needs to be removed from the political process.

Voting Day needs to be a national holiday.

Age limits for all elected officials.

Expand the Supreme Court, revise their term limits.

Why am I so attracted to Phil Ellis on Taskmaster? He reminds me of every alternative straight boy in high school that I had an unrequited crush on.

Parks and Rec isn't a hill to die on, but one thing it gets right is this whole government thing rests on the shoulders of people you will never know, caring a lot about jobs you've never heard of, fighting challenges thrown at them from every angle just to make life a little better for everyone.

Voting Day in the United States needs to become a national holiday so everyone has an equal chance to participate in the process.

In every corner of the world, a working adult should be paid enough to afford housing in their geographic area that provides all their basic needs: their own kitchen, their own bathroom, their own bedroom, privacy and security. This is minimum dignity for every human being.

Public transit should be free everywhere.

I'm 40 hours into Borderlands 4, and I've never been so bored by a Borderlands game as I have by this one. The open world was a mistake. Long stretches of just running & driving & nothing happening, too many stupid collectibles. It's a....7/10 for me, at best.

It is beyond time that we French Revolution the current administration.

I briefly considered trying out Black Desert Online today and was immediately turned off by how horrendous the UI for the character creator is.

People who post on social media bragging about how low their body fat percentage is makes me want to go on a killing spree. Please grow up and get a hobby.

Just started rewatching True Blood after like...10 years and the first 2 seasons really hold up. They quickly & strongly build the mythos of the supernatural world and Bon Temps, and especially the mystery of just what Sookie is. Starting S3 tonight and I'm 100% invested all over again. 🧛‍♂️🧚‍♀️

Every action the current administration takes boils down to a war aggression. They are manipulating every stupid rule they can to antagonize and undermine democracy without openly declaring war. Everyone is afraid to say it, and sadly it's exactly what they want, but we ARE at war.

I'm rewatching Salem, a WGN America tv series from...2015? And my gosh the first two seasons are SO GOOD. I love the magic, the darkness, the melodrama. Janet Montgomery's Mary Sibley is so beautiful and cruel and tragic, and you want her to win back her love despite all the evil she does.

I say this like...every three months or so, but when are we calling for a general strike? When will Democratic leaders call for a general strike? We must stop the machine!!!

GENERAL STRIKE!! NOW!!

Just finished rewatching S3 of Charmed and since so much more info has come out in recent years about the behind the scenes drama, it is so interesting how many of the plots echo that drama once you start looking closely. The writers room really was drawing on real-life tension to make good TV.

The weather is getting spooky and Kim Petras' "Turn Off The Light" is still an absolute banger and it's returning to my autumn music rotation immediately.

We can't keep saying "there's no place for political violence in our democracy" when:

1. True democracy doesn't exist in the U.S.
2. The current administration actively commits and advocates for violence against marginalized communities every day.

We must fight back, by any means necessary.

I really need to remember to stop buying Atlus/Persona/Shin Megami Tensei games at release because they always release a more complete version a year later. Anyway, SMT V Vengeance was fun, even if the plot was barebones.

Is this the moment I start to get 1% better every day? I bought Atomic Habits to help my ADHD partner but I know I can benefit as well. There is so much wisdom in just the first 20 pages, stuff I've definitely heard before from other expert voices, I know I just have to start doing the work.

I really wanted to like Butterfly, Daniel Dae Kim is by far the best part, but some of the acting and dialogue is so cringy I had a hard time believing these characters are supposed to be assassins and intelligence operatives.

Has Marvel Comics ever done a "War of the Super Soldiers" type plot? I want to watch a gimmick movie in the MCU of Winter Soldier, Red Guardian, Steve Rogers, and U.S. Agent and whoever else gets dosed just teaming up and punching people in the face for 2 hours
