Here’s what annoys me about the media’s response to Tom Cotton’s “what if they were signaling other narco boats.” The natural follow-up is “Did they show you evidence of other boats in the area? If there were, why weren’t they attacked.” Call them out on their obvious bullshit every time FFS!

I’m old enough to remember when Time Warner boss Jeff Bewkes said worrying about Netflix as competition was like the US worrying about the Albanian army. #CEOsAreDummies

What? She’s never gone more than a year without work in film or TV since the 90’s. We can’t get a break from her. Ridiculous.

There’s nothing feel good about this. Our government failed him, bailing out banks and giving tax breaks to billionaires, but letting GM’s bankruptcy steal his pension and health care. GoFundMe is not healthcare and it’s not retirement. Shameful.

Which is it? Permanent or pause? Because a “permanent pause” makes you sound like a bunch of illiterates…oh, never mind.

Where to start with this bad take. The history of popular music stars turned film stars? The ignorance of Cher’s acting career? The under appreciation of how big a star Grande already was when she became a pop star, which arguably is harder than the other way around? variety.com/2025/film/co...

We all knew he’d pardon his 2020 election co-conspirators, it was just a question of when. So now we’re left to wonder why now? What issue is he trying to distract? The economy? The shutdown? His declining health?

Oh good. Huge media conglomerates are using their platform to suggest we help food banks….instead of cashing in the political equity they’ve earned from years of campaign contributions to force politicians to knock this shit off. It’s always been our fault, right?

“So my house used to belong to Bob Evans - not the sausage guy, which is what I first thought. This Bob Evans greenlit The Godfather, which I’m sure you’ve heard of. Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, my desk used to be Jack Warner’s who was one of the Warner Brothers. Cool, right?”

20 years since Katrina, so 20 years since a prominent CNN anchor asked a NO official if someone was going to go out and patch the hole in the roof of the Superdome while the storm still raged. The “You first” look on his face is seared into my memory.

I wrote about Theo Huxtable wearing the Gordon Gartrell knockoff shirt, the comic gifts of the late Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and the complicated feelings of watching other actors shine on The Cosby Show:

Skycap line in LA. Woman and her son get in line behind me. Son’s complaining that he doesn’t have his ski gear. Mom says, “Dude, I’ll get you new stuff at the ski shop.”

Immediately knew I was standing in front of Jodie Foster and her son she had surprised with a ski trip.
