I don't think people remotely understand what it means to deploy a carrier group to the Caribbean. Of our 11 carriers only 1/4 are ever on or ready for deployment. The rest are dry-dock, prep, etc.
This means 1/4 of our greatest means if projecting power is wasted on a PR stunt.

They should support homeless people.
They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.
