The worst part of being victimised is the realisation that you have, usually unknowingly, given permission for it to happen.

Blaming makes victims of us. Consistently operating as a victim can lead to victim-think and victimhood. Victimhood shows up in our lives in ways we definitely don't want.

That isn't right! Let go of needing to be right - it can make a victim of you (See reel No.2).
An even harder-to-recognise thought process often going on is if their problems are solved, they won't need help anymore when needing help is how they have attracted people. More next comment

One choice could be to move away from the situation. Instead many want someone else to solve their problems. That's very understandable.
There's an idea if your problem is solve, the victimiser, or the situation which is creating the problem for you, will get clean away with it. See next comment.

If we look at our situations carefully, we might see that our thinking choices could be different.
Life long victim-thinkers do not believe they are able to do anything about it a situation. Just being present is participating.

From last week's video, we now know that making excuses also makes us victims, but what are the real reasons we make excuses? Something to think about perhaps.

Sob stories which keep being repeated while no change takes place because the 'victim' feels trapped or stuck, are common features of victimish behaviour and victim-thinking. Being right is often the very thing that keeps us from being able to resolve a situation in which we're being victimised.

Not sure where you are, Sam. Try Good Reading Magazine out of Australia who have a good online presence and a great monthly mag with loads of new books and honest reviews of them. Really good source of new books and author information as well.

As a professional writer and speaker, I am also a funeral celebrant. When I'm not working with bereaved people I write magazine features, prospectus, business profiles, newsletters, EDM, blogs, etc. I also research and write books. My latest book, I'm Not A Victim...Am I? @TheresaSjoquist222
