34 Year old Shut-In, Hobby writer (wish I could be paid to write but I first need to WRITE MORE for that), and avid devourer of stories in all forms. Straight White Cis Male but LGBT+ Ally.
It frustrates me sometimes that the only way to get good enough at writing that I can pull off the complicated ideas I have, is to try to write them now knowing I'll do terribly. Like, I'm not going to get better by avoiding challenges. I need to try to learn what works and what doesn't and why.

I like to collect plushies of characters from stories I love because they're cheaper and more durable than figures, but I also have no room to display them so they're all just stuffed into a bag in my closet.

I think when it comes to "What's Your Favorite Superpower" questions, the answers should be divided into 3 categories:
1. Superpower that would make normal life more convenient.
2. Superpower you just find really cool/interesting.
3. Superpower for being a Hero or Villain in a superpower world.

I finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon (or Yakuza 7) last night and I'm 4 hours into my shift at work today, STILL being sent reeling from the emotional ending.
Gosh dang this was SUCH a good game. The boss fights could be a little too grindy at times, but damn am I happy I played to the end.

Sometimes my love for a story is enhanced from the fact that the story had a message that I really needed to hear at the time I engaged with it.
It makes me wonder what I would have thought of them if I experienced those stories at earlier or later moments in my life.

In hindsight it was hilarious to have the last half of the episode I was invested in spoiled by a preview of "what will our MC do now that X has happened"

Regulus Corneas from #Rezero is one of the most hateable villains in fiction, and I will never stop hating him.
He's right up there with #DragonQuest 5's Bishop Ladja for me.
Though the two are hated for notably different reasons, they're both monsters and I feel immense joy in their demise.

I've been on a huge otome style webtoon binge lately, from empresses getting revenge, betrayed lovers going back in time, to people being trapped as the villainess of an otome game. The political intrigue, social manipulations, and especially the romance, are all just so fun to read!

One advantage of being a super picky eater, is that depictions of high quality meals in fiction do nothing to make me hungry. I can read all the fancy cooking arcs I want and it'll have no sway on when or what my next meal will be!

Just beat #EnderMagnolia, and dang was it fun! Also loved the story and how it had more dialogue and character interactions, and how it built off the lore of #EnderLilies
