100 degrees. Entering a Parker’s, a man, 40s, held the door for me. I said “Thanks, man”, and he replied “Yes, sir.”
Leaving, a kid-about 20-approached, and I held the door for him. Not missing a beat, he said “All in black. Thanks, brother.” I said, “you bet.”
The kid gets me.
