Sunday morning: watching politicians discuss the Spring Budget like it’s a murder mystery. Just say what you’re doing with the money. We’ve got plans to cancel.

Supposed to be warm tomorrow, which means Brits will be out in shorts and firing up the BBQ—even if it’s only 12°C. Commitment to the cause is unmatched. #SpringHasSprung

There are two types of book lovers:

📖 Those who finish one book before starting another.

📚 Absolute chaos gremlins stacking half-finished books like a literary Jenga tower.

Be honest—which one are you? 👀 #BookSky #ReadingHabits

On this day in 1762, New York City held its first St. Patrick’s Day parade. And 262 years later, people are still using it as an excuse to drink. Some traditions never die. #StPatricksDay

Half-term fun so far: Museum, library, Pokémon shopping, and swimming… plus way too much sugar and screen time (and that’s just me). 😅 Loving the time off, but clearly not getting much work done. Good thing I’m WFH! What’s everyone else up to this week? #HalfTermAdventures #ParentLife

#SundayDebate My son got into trouble for using ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas for school. A lot of people here seem a bit anti-AI, but can be useful for so many things. AI’s here to stay—are schools ready for this? Should we be embracing it or holding back? #AIinSchools #FutureOfEducation

Book 14 of 2025: Victory City by Salman Rushdie ⭐⭐⭐⭐. My first Rushdie read, and I get why he’s so highly regarded. The blend of history and myth is rich and engaging, though not always the easiest read. Thought-provoking and unique definitely curious to explore more of his work #BookSky #ReadingSky

Wolfsong by TJ Klune. A bit outside my usual genre, but was curious if it lived up to the hype. While it didn’t fully click for me, I can see why so many love it—immersive writing, deep emotions, & strong found-family theme. Worth checking out if you like emotional character-driven fantasy! #BookSky

Book 11 of 2025: While My Baby Sleeps by Natali Simmonds ⭐⭐⭐⭐. A gripping, intense thriller that captures the raw stress of early motherhood. It brought back memories of those sleepless nights, but also… it’s a bit triggering for mothers. Highly recommend, but proceed with caution! #BookSky #BookTok

Just finished The Last Mile by David Baldacci ⭐⭐⭐⭐—a strong second book in the Amos Decker series! It’s a step up from Memory Man, with better-developed characters, a more engaging story, and a compelling antagonist. Definitely hooked for the next one! #BookSky #ReadingSky #BookTok

On this day in 1595, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was thought to be first performed. Little did he know, generations of school kids would be forced to read it and pretend they understand it. Ah, the joys of tragic love and ‘wherefore art thou’ confusion. #OnThisDay #BookSky
