usually my go-to is just acting as myself and people who have problems with it can keep it to themselves.
I don't know if I have autism or ADHD (I could have both) but it's one of the two. alot of family and teachers would ask, but I never was professionally diagnosed

not a diss at Godot specifically my use case was something easily done with GDShaders and basic math but still. there's a lot to be desired with the vertex color implementation that I hope eventually gets addressed

usually that's if you're not using 3 point filtering then probably. I know the sm64 PC port supports it at least? maybe check there

absolutely. were at the point to where the tech exists and were just kinda stuck with kernel level shit in our games. been this way with the 2000s
but I'm not installing some weird shit to my kernel to play pirated games. plus if the official kernel level software goes wrong, there's a clear blame

I think the issue I have with it is it becomes redundant whenever it inevitably gets cracked anyway
and then at that point it raises questions about security, whether the kernel level shit you're installing is official or unofficial. I think something as trivial as a game shouldn't touch the kernel

I will say for my particular setup you'd need more than just a CRT to get this working. I'm using wakabavideos RGBHV to NTSC converter, alongside some custom xrandr modelines to get it to actually work.
Is it worth it? For me, hell yeah. But just a forewarning that this setups deviously complicated
