I’m a runner who enjoys running with friends and likes the challenge of the marathon and beyond. And I’m in love with God and try to walk closely with him every day.
So this whole deporting of immigrants with opinions different than the sitting president is really a slippery slope. Do we deport Elon when the next democrat is elected? The president dictates what immigrants are allowed to publicly express? Is that what we believe is right?

Got to do a peri-dawn run in Brisbane on Sunday. It has a beautiful waterfront that is very much alive early in the morning and late at night. I hope to go back and spend more time there some day. Even at 6 am there were hundreds of runners.

Carter lived more modestly than any ex-president since Harry Truman.

He and Rosalynn, who were married for more than 77 years, remained until the end in the ranch house they built for themselves in 1961, where they both will be buried next to a shady willow tree. wapo.st/49ZLa55

What is your “why” for running? I have several. First, I have made some of my closest friends through running. Second, I like to take on new challenges and find out what my body can handle; e.g., I ran a 24-hour race earlier this year. Third, running alone, I can think and pray and find peace.
