In all honesty, Aldi has had better produce than the bigger stores for the better part of 20 years in my area. I use them as often as possible. I'm in the Midwest and farm fresh produce is not available year round.

A simplified version of the same issue. Look at what calculators did to math skills. In my experience, 25% of people running a cash register can't even make coin change without their machine. It is literally mind numbing.

Old onions just today. Bananas going from green to brown, no yellow time. Apples that look and feel great but brown centers. I buy romaine hearts but they are getting tiny. I generally don't have these issues at smaller but pricier stores.
