Here is a fantastic little turbine air blower that is ideal for removing dust prior to any decorating after sanding - particularly spindles/skirtings & tight areas. Is even be handy around the house when cleaning. Super powerful & lightweight.

Love an original Victorian gas lamp. The horizontal bars provided a secure support for the top of the ladder, preventing it from slipping sideways. Back when lamps like these were used, lamplighters needed to clean the glass, trim the wick (in earlier oil lamps) or later, to light the gas mantle.

A snippet of my current project. This is a task that requires patience & care as I take the woodwork right back to its original state. Not seen the light of day for over 100 years or so. The carpenter back then did a tidy job.

It’s all about bio-hacking, ice baths, gyms and wellness these days. The gyms I go to are packed even when I’ve been to a 24hr gym on a Saturday evening with youngsters.

These spindles don’t just look like pick axe handles, they actually are real pick axe handles collected from WW1! Bit of trivia for you. Love the thought they were once used so long ago.

No they are great. I had to get one 3 years ago as doing my favourite client’s ceiling rose caused it and enabled me to complete the work.
