Until you can convince half of America to stop letting FOX News tell them what to think and when to shit, administrations like this will always hold sway. Their power comes from cultivating a voter base angry and stupid enough to manipulate and as it stands, I can’t envision a path to changing that.

I’m also struggling with the idea many fans have of “SELL SELL SELL” while still being too chicken shit to mention Matthews and Nylander in that discussion. However much you think we’d “lose” those trades, the return only gets worse each year they get older and each less year of term they have.

The questionable trades/signings Treliving made and the coach he hired were made to win now largely at the misguided behest of powers above him. This may sound crazy but if the board finally gives him untethered autonomy for a teardown, I trust him to sell off valuable assets as much as any GM.
