Just finished a book so riddled with errors that I have no words. First acknowledgment was to the editor.

Got a book journal and my partner got a sticker maker. Haven’t decided on a proper rating system yet.

Fascists look at basic community organizing on signal and see a specter of rebellion. Brother, 99% of this country has access to over the counter drones, tannerite & gas station amphetamines. If violence was the immediate goal it would’ve happened. These are normies who fuckin’ hate what they see.

Abolishing ice was the moderate position, the minimum is now for them to be fed to the communities they have victimized.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

Finished. I really enjoyed the world building and the characters were all fun to engage with. Ending felt a little rushed but I’ve heard the 2nd book(prequel) is more balanced so I’m stoked to crack into it. Not excited to see it’s gonna be some time before the follow up to this book.

My mother sent this to me. They’ve radicalized the libmoms.

There’s something to be said about all of the united states’ allies who’ve co-signed its imperialist bullshit for decades suddenly finding themselves in the crosshairs. Western homogeneity my ass, this place will fuckin kill anyone/everyone.

The only other Thaikovsky book I’ve read is Alien Clay and I was mixed on it, this fuckin rocked, though.

If we have to do electoral politics can we still at least do the part where we drag them into the streets and pummel them with rocks when they act up?

Challenging the press to do their jobs in 2025 is the best way to shut them up.
After briefing on strikes off Venezuela, Sen. Sheehy says “if we're going to question the legal process and the procedural process to target bad guys that this administration is using, then all of you better start cracking open every single Obama kinetic strike”

Spent a day uniting Ireland and dominating England and pacifying France in CK3. Haven’t gotten far enough for primogeniture. My eight kids are going to ruin this shit.

the invasion of Afghanistan is among the most horrific recent chapters of the long history of elite impunity in the US. this coda is grim but fitting - the govt practically explicitly affirming that it should only be Afghans who live with the consequences amid fading public memory of the atrocity
It didn’t even take 6 hours.

Another I just finished. Medieval horror is probably my favorite genre and it’s criminally underrepresented but between “Pilgrim” and this as a follow up to “His Black Tongue” (which also rocked), Mitchell Lüthi is doing heavy lifting.

It’d been like three months and I still think about The Green Bone Saga. I wasn’t sure at the start of the first book but by the second I loved the Kaul family.
