I've been having some pain in my leg. Went to the doctor. Got an x-ray. Nurse just called me. I have arthritis.

I'm only 49. I've never felt so old.

I only managed to watch two films today and they are wildly different. First was The Ogre of Athens a noirish drama from Greece. I'll have a full review of it shortly. Then I needed something light and caught up with the MCU by watching Thunderbolts. It was fun until it wasn't.

Finished the night up with Framed (1947). It is mostly a great little noir, but I never believed in the romance and it rushes its ending a bit.

A couple of months ago I subscribed to Starz for an entire year. They had one of those super deals where I could get it for 12 months for like $20, so why not?. I periodically look through it to see if there is anything worth watching and there never is. Only films I like are ones that I own on DVD.

Just binge watched the first season of The Bear which is good, and sad, and rather stressful. I'm not sure it was a good choice for in this moment.

I found this photo of Miles Davis in the folder of a recording of his performance at the Fillmore East on June 20, 1970, but I'm guessing from the generic labeling that it isn't from that show. Anyone have any idea of when and where it was taken?
