Saw Nosferatu. Think I’d have liked it a whole lot more with a nu metal soundtrack and also if the year was 2002.
Or maybe just cut down to just play all of Ralph Ineson and Willem Dafoe’s scenes.
As it stands it’s my least liked Eggers and I left dissatisfied.

Came across one of the chambers where they keen the power switches for Earth today. Glad it’s behind a fence. Imagine if someone just waltzed in and flipped it? It’d all be over.

And nobody get me started on Elf. It’s not a unique take but it might be my most disliked Christmas movie. And I love Christmas movies! Honest!

Muppet Christmas Carol is an excellent, 10/10 movie.
But it’s not the best Christmas Carol adaptation (I adore the Old Vic’s annual production).
And it’s not the best Muppet literature adaptation (Treasure Island).
And it’s not the best Muppet Xmas feature (Muppet Family Christmas).

Home Alone 2 is much better than the first. Conceptually, New York hotel is great. The cartoonishness works better with a slightly more farcical scenario and the stakes feel higher but still easily resolvable.

Well, looks like my inaugural BlueSky posts are going to be takes on Christmas movies so hot they’d melt ice.
We watched Home Alone a couple nights ago. I’ve never understood the love for it, it’s a fun concept but it never really lives up to it for me. 🤷♂️ check out Better Watch Out instead.
