Walked in the snow to my local Tim Hortons to order an iced capp, partially because I'm craving something sweet, partially because I wanted to see their reaction to ordering one in this snow.
I walked in and found at least 4 other people in front of me ordering iced capps as well.

/7 Prosecuting a cop for misconduct, let alone murder, is the hardest prosecution you can do in America. Thanks to America’s culture it’s like trying to convict a fucking kitten for high treason. It’s like trying to convict Jesus. You just cannot rush over confidently into that.

I got the screen fixed pretty fast. Paid a decent chunk of money, but I looked it up and apparently it seems on par with what it should be. I don't know when phone stuff got so expensive.

The phone's screen finally died. I don't remember if I backed everything up properly since the time it cracked.
Accidentally flung my phone and cracked its screen.
Now I have to think about whether to fix the screen or just get a new phone.
The screen itself seems to work perfectly fine for now, but I've been burned by my Nexus 4 basically making everything inaccessible bit by bit.

carmack is such an incredibly stupid guy. i used to think he was a genius at one thing and dumb as rocks at everything else, but i now realise he was only ever a garden variety fuckwit with the luxury of spending immense amounts of time on his interests and the vacuousness to hold only one at a time

Just found out that the major groups in my family are each travelling elsewhere for the holidays instead of doing a yearly family Christmas, basically leaving me alone for the holidays.
Two of them tried to use ChatGPT to apologize for it, which is how I found out.

I got an early Christmas gift, a set of Hexclad pots and a saucepan.
Kind of wish that I didn't, since apparently they're very expensive but kind of meh. Now I'll look like I'm ungrateful if I don't use them. I was planning on getting another set of cookware after New Year's.
