Elections were once the US's coveted call for fairness & reform; that was before Putin and Musk became VIPs in the WH. By calling for new elections in Ukraine after disparaging Zelensky, Trump makes clear that elections will be a tool for oppression aided by both the Influencer & Hacker in Charge.

But all is not familiar. New tech & social norms have shifted the lines of play & rules of engagement. Basic questions during WW1 & WW2 were IF & WHEN the US would officially enter the war, not WHICH side it would be on & WHAT it would defend.The questions were moot bc the answers were no-brainers!

The world is in the throws of modern global warfare on traditional battlefields of earth & sky, and on increasingly sophisticated digital & psychological fronts. The world has been here before where idealogies & alliances intersect, and when collective action & self-preservation is needed.
