Our washing machine is currently off balance, so the spin cycle has become a rhythmic, percussive, hot mess. I heard it when I was coming down the hall, so I started dancing to the beat. I rounded the corner to find my husband in the living room doing the exact same thing.

I'm working on chapter 17 of my story, and I'm gobsmacked that I'm still going strong. It will likely end up being right around 30 chapters with an epilogue, which is crazy, right? That's a proper flipping story. Wild.

We had our quarterly gathering of the ladies in our neighborhood today. The food and conversation was great, as always, and it was lovely meeting a few new faces.
The absolute highlight was seeing my 76-year-old neighbor gleefully hop on the swings and immediately revert to age 7. It was magical!
