As a registered independent in one of the deepest red states in this country, I am torn between rooting for the Find Out phase of FAFO & the systemic destruction of our once proud country. I have seen #Project2025 firsthand in Oklahoma and, trust me, America isn’t ready for it.
The part that bothers me most about this is that we have known that the GOP agenda today is the same one they have followed for the last 100 years, (Project 2025 isn’t new), and people just flat out don’t care.

What does that say about our society?
The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. It’s astoundingly anti-Christ.

The rest of the country is getting a taste of Oklahoma GOP leadership circa 2012.
Today, we wasted time voting on renaming the Gulf of Mexico—a name it’s had for almost 500 YEARS. We’ve got folks losing healthcare, schools underfunded, and rights under attack. We’ve got real issues. Prioritize THAT.

The House has passed a Republican-led bill that would rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, moving a step closer to codifying President Donald Trump’s push to rename the body of water.

As we look back on the last 72 days of chaos & legislative terrorism it’s important to remember that we can’t blame the pres for doing EXACTLY what he said he would do. The blame lies directly with the people that put him in position to do EXACTLY what he said he would do.

How Four Years of Trump Reshaped Food and Farming
No matter who wins the White House on Tuesday, policy changes over the last four years will have long-term impacts on the food system—from the farm economy to food access.

The party that is banning books today is raising children that will ban the books that tell this chapter in history. Our generation failed to stop this. Don’t let your kids let their kids get away with it.

While everyone is focused on Pete Hegseth, abolishing FEMA and raiding businesses for illegal immigrants, the Heritage Foundation is busy enacting Project 2025. Welcome to Oklahoma, America.

1917 was released 5 years ago this week. Acclaimed as one of the great Hollywood war movies of this century, and director Sam Mendes’ second foray into the genre, the story of how it was made proves that he travels the fastest who travels alone…

The silver lining about Trump’s appointments is that history shows none of them last very long. History also shows that he replaces people with even worse versions of their predecessor.

They haven’t even taken full control of the federal government yet. Let that sink in.

Down-ballot Trump-backed candidates got wiped out in ‘18, ‘20 & ‘22. The left needs to figure out how, after 6 yrs of winning, we got absolutely destroyed like we did in ‘24. To lose the White House, Senate & House after all of this is unacceptable. A complete retooling of our approach is necessary.

@joemsnbc.bsky.social The desperation to remain relevant overrode the public humiliation that man brought upon your wife to the point you felt kissing the ring was more important than what little honor you may have had. Emasculation is an understatement:

I would personally like to welcome the rest of America to Oklahoma. We have been electing the wrong people to do the right jobs for the majority of this century. Our quality of life is shit but the clowns we have representing us sure can own the libs.

The OK GOP has had a 2-1 supermajority here for 15 years and they successfully ran this place into the ground. They have had even more success in getting people here to believe it is the other party’s fault. Being 49th in education is worse than cyclical poverty.
But don’t worry. Oklahoma is buying thousands of Bibles for their public schools.

The stunning efficiency with which he has systematically began destroying government should give people reason for concern. We all know he isn’t intelligent enough to do this all by himself. It’s almost like people in his circle have been plotting these moves for years if not decades. #Project2025

We said the same thing in January 2021. Turns out, America begged them to come back. Society is un-fucking-well.

May take 4 years still, but MAGA ain’t gonna survive this term intact. America will be begging them to go away
