Sean Morales-Doyle: With the exception of blatant dictators like Xi Jinping or the MBS, most autocrats try to manipulate rather than cancel (or never hold) elections. That's the real threat from Trump. He wants to be sure that the voter turnout is as low as possible and includes only MAGA.
