Well-reported piece on publishing. But what I've found is that great sales make your publisher mad at you. I earned out my advance on all of my books, which I know is rare, and thought would be good. But I got treated worse with each book, down to them not even providing books to a sold-out launch.

I haven't understood for over twenty years how anyone can listen to this guy for more than five minutes without considering calling in a wellness check.

Everything happening now was obvious by March 2021. That's why I wrote about it *then*.

This matters because this is a planned autocracy. Feigned surprise at horrors is meant to rewrite history and present our plight as if it wasn't a plan obvious four years ago and countenanced by both parties.
